Home/How we work
What happens after you call.
Four steps from the first call to a documented fix, and you will know where you stand after the first one. Here is the whole thing.
Fig. 1 / Sequence of operations
Four steps, and that is all of them.
Each one has a clear end, so you always know where you are.
You call or write
You reach the person who will do the work. Describe it in whatever words you have. Working out what it is comes next.
We find the real fault
Before anything gets changed, and before anything gets bought. Skipping this step is the usual reason a problem comes back.
You get a straight answer
What it is, what it costs, how long it takes, and whether it is worth doing at all. Sometimes the answer is that it is not.
Fixed and written down
The fix, and the documentation that goes with it. You own both.
How engagements are usually structured
There are three shapes, and most work is one of them.
A defined project
A website, a migration, a network build, an office move. Scoped and priced as a fixed number before work starts, so the figure you agree is the figure you pay. If the scope changes, you hear about it before it does, not on the invoice.
Ongoing support
A monthly arrangement for businesses that want predictable cover rather than a scramble when something breaks. No minimum number of users, and what it covers is agreed in writing before it starts.
Called when needed
Some clients have no arrangement at all and call when something goes wrong. That works perfectly well, and it does not put you behind anyone else.
What you can expect either way
- An answer the same business day.
- The same person, who already knows your setup.
- A diagnosis before a quote, not after it.
- A clear view on whether we are the right people for the job.
- Documentation you keep, in a form the next person can read.
What we need from you
Very little, and mostly just access and a clear description of what you are seeing. One thing helps more than anything else: tell us whether the problem is that something stops working or that it works but badly. Those two descriptions point at completely different faults, and getting the distinction right at the start can save days.

Three things, done properly.
Fig. 3 / Contact
Tell us what is broken.
If it is urgent, call. The phone is faster than any form and it reaches the same person.
